Released in 1991, he is a stunning 48cm fully jointed mohair bear. His EAN number is 406829 and his individual number is 2150 out of an edition size of  3,000. 

He is jet black in color with red sad eyes. He is an exact replica of the bear that Steiff brought out in 1912 just after the real Titanic disaster to show empathy for the victims. He is also known as the "mourning" bear. Note: the original issue was just 600 pieces, solely for the British market.

He was purchased new and spent years in storage. Despite being 29 years old, he remains in excellent condition, no odors or stains. He has his certificate, original steiff box, chest tag and original shipping box, which is how he will be sent Priority mail insured.

NOTE: he was very difficult to photograph because he is jet black and my pictures just don't show how beautiful a bear this is.
